I mentioned it to the attendant when we were at a rest-stop, and he apologized for it. However, he said he didn't know what Amtrak's blanket-cleaning procedures were, and assumed (as I do) that it was outsourced to a third-party. Crickets from Amtrak social media and email inquiries so far.
