It's funny how you miss or crave what you don't get to experience that often. When I lived in Florida and Ohio and flew mostly through the Southeast, I flew almost exclusively MD-88s and MD-90s for where I was traveling. It wasn't uncommon for me to have a four segment trip and all four segments be on MD-88s. Trying to find flights on 737s & 757s or A319s/A320s to get some variety was quite difficult. Now living in Seattle, I hardly ever fly MD-88s or MD-90s; it's all 737s and 757s for most of my destinations (I do get quite a few 717s up and down the West Coast). Last year I only flew on the MD-88 three times and on one MD-90. I didn't think it when I was living in Florida and Ohio but I miss the T-tails.
