Train from Schiphol to Leeuwarden
I'm not on trains often on the continent outside of Denmark so I'm trying to find out information in terms of the difference of service for first/second class on Dutch tab services. Sometimes it's worth the price difference, sometimes not. I'll be taking an interesting journey - train to an airport somewhere in England (not sure if I'm going via Leeds, Doncaster, or Manchester yet), flying to Amsterdam, then the train onwards to my final destination in Leeuwarden.
I can't see to find much about the difference between first/standard class on this route between Schiphol-Leeuwarden. Anyone know anything? If it's any help, I have a preference for quiet cars and usually spring for the first class quiet cars in Denmark, first class throughout England (unless it's a late night non-weekend service). It's been years since I've been on a train in the Netherlands so no clue what to expect.
