You should try the South American forum instead of the Latin/Central American forum for such a question since you will get more responses there. That said, let me be helpful a bit.
The AA voucher (if it's good only on AA flights) will get you to Buenos Aires Argentina. But from there the better ski places are Las Lenas and Bariloche both require flying from Buenos Aires & then a drive (unless you take the mucho long option of car/bus all the way -- which I have no idea about).
Santiago, Chile may make better sense since the drive to Portillo from Santiago is far, far more reasonable. From Santiago you could even fly over (faster probably) to Mendoza, Argentina (near to Las Lenas). Flights from Santiago to Bariloche area I have no idea about.
