In terms of the UK website, I was getting this issue earlier. However rest assured - and this is somewhat bizarre - say you are doing a pay later booking, when you get the booking confirmation email, it does actually give you the lower price that showed when you are not logged in and apply the AWD code.
So on the final screen of the booking process, say the price it says you are going to pay is X, when the booking confirmation email comes through, it actually shows the lower price, reflecting the AWD discount, which I 'apparently' couldn't get the system to quote when logged in.
So it must be a temporary glitch. No idea why!
