But bear in mind that the shuttle no longer stops at the Conrad. After getting off at the Pacific Place stop, you have two options. You could walk along the curb, in the direction of the shuttle, for about four minutes up a slight slope to the main entrance. But if you have luggage, that can be a bit of a pull. Besides, at that time of the night that area can be deserted. (Deserted? Hong Kong? Incredible but true!) Or you can get into the building (Pacific Place II) right near the stop, but not entering through the double glass doors directly behind the stop. Instead, walk left towards the building. You'll see a wider, open entrance area. Get into the elevator and push the button for Conrad. Upon exit, you'll still have to walk a little distance, but at least that's indoors and there's no climb. A much better alternative to all of that is to simply get on a taxi at Hong Kong Station; it's not terribly expensive either. Agents at the reception desk in the lobby escort Golds and Diamonds up to the Lounge for proper check-in. The Lounge itself doesn't close until 11 p.m., even though the (very) light refreshments and two pots of porridge may start to disappear staring around 10:45.
