Day 1.
Dawn somewhere over Myanmar.
Half-decent airplane omelette and orange juice for breakfast.
Watching the comedy,
The House. Not great but perfect for passing the time.
On approach to
Hong Kong International Airport, with a ship looking a little too close to a rocky islet(?!).
After a short queue at immigration we were off to get some HK dollars and to buy a ticket on the train into the city.
We had spent 12 hours in Hong Kong while flying back for a trip to Vietnam 2 years ago and were keen to head back for a longer stay and see some more of the city.
We arrived at
Central just after 11am and bought some Korean latte cookie sticks to fill the gap until lunch.
And then headed to the
MTR station for a one stop ride to
Sheung Wan.
