I do have enough 500 mile upgrade certs (will take 8 for both of us) but if I check-in with the upgraded seats, anyone know what the possibility is that I will end up getting bumped to the back at the gate? I'd hate for us to end up with much worse seats in back rather than at least the exit row. Trying to decide if I should call and tell them I've lost the status and get the exit row back, or not say anything and hope we retain the first class.
Unless there is a plane change or something else that would cause you to change your flights, the currently assigned seat will not change.
Additionally, at some point soon, your status will change, and you will not have free checked baggage.
