Thanks again for all of the help, folks. I was able to make changes on AA no problem, with my wife flying ORD-LGA as the first leg and my having found SFO-LAX-JFK for myself on AA all the way.
One final (I hope) question, though: The EY site shows the revised itineraries for my wife and myself, EXCEPT it doesn't show the SFO-LAX leg on my itinerary. I assume this is a innocuous system glitch, and will follow up with AA and EY. But I'd welcome any thoughts or advice on this.
