We are thinking of buying Italo 13:33 departing from Florence and arrive at Termini 15:05, then connect to Leonardo Express to FCO Airport. Flight is at T3 departing at 19:15 on a Tuesday.
Will we run into any problems getting off Italo at Termini and buying Leonardo Express using a self-service machine? How long should we allow the trasnfer from getting off Italo.
It's a piece of cake. Termini is very easy too navigate. There is a huge bulletin board that show you what track you train is leaving from, but for Leonardo Express it is always the same track. Either number 23 or 24. It drops you off inside Rome Termini, then a 5-10 minute walk to check-in. One little known perk of Leonardo Express, if there are long lines at security, you can go to the airport help desk that is easy to find and get a discount for a Priority Pass through security for 4 euros. You have plenty of time, but based on the situation when you get there, it might have some value to you.
