I was certainly treated very well in 2017. Suite upgrades at least 90% of the time. Presidential Suite twice. 5 tier upgrade on another occasion. Can't complain at all. It does depend on where you stay of course, how often you stay at particular venues and also when you are a newbie at a hotel and if you select the very bottom rate at new hotels you are not known at or go for a mid-tier room.
