I had exceeded the 5 post in 24 hour rule, so I had to wait. We have been busy visiting the Stellenbosh kitchen ( I recommend the tempura prawns) and also Oppie Dorp (great calamari). Tonight we viait the Fat Butcher restauarnt which gets booked very quickly. We have also had 2 delightful lunches in the Horticultural gardens restauarnt (Bobotie is good) .
We have also spent a day on the Vine Hopper HOHO .. Eastern route, visiting Lanzerac, Neil Ellis (stunning views and big wines), Camberly (quirky) and finally Boschendal where we had a pre booked picnic, you can opt for a sit at a table picnic , or a blanket one, we opted for the former. It was glorious, and the excellent wine tasted just right.
I will try to attach a pic of the picnic site
Tomorrow we try the Northen route HOHO stopping at Warwick for lunch.

The OP is right about Stellenbosch, it is charming, and the Eendracht hotel has everything you need
