I think the rave reviews have been about the actual Flagship First Dining Room, which requires a flight in three-class first for access. Not everyone eligible for Flagship Lounge access is eligible for admittance into the Flagship First Dining Room.
The general Flagship Lounge dining area at ORD was stellar the past few times I visited. Hopefully LAX ups their game.
