Was on that that rate during a friday-monday last summer. Think it was a festival around in Osaka and it was very crowded around the station Tennoji. After that weekend I had a second reservation and got it down to 21 000jpy/night from tuesday-friday. So your rate is a bit pricey but if it's your first time staying, during a weekend and sakura season it could be worth it. I've seen the hotel dip 1-2 months before check in, as with other hotels in Japan so try to wait and keep looking in january and forward.

I'm staying during Sakura season as well but in Tokyo. It's crazy expensive on some high end hotels but I'm sure their rates will drop in a month or two to more normal levels.
