You will not be protected if you miss the connection, and even if LIH-OGG is on time you're cutting it a little close. You'll need to collect your bags, check them back in, and go through security again at OGG. None of that is factored into MCT.
HA does a pretty good job keeping the interisland flights on time, and OGG isn't a very big airport, so you'll probably make the flight. But personally it's not a risk I'd be willing to take with no protection.
