Gift card with airline fee from Amex
I still have $200 left on the airline fee credit with my chosen airline, Delta. However, as I was going to buy 4 $50 cards I decided to check first the terms and conditions on the Amex website. It says this "This benefit doesn't offer credit toward airline tickets, mileage points purchases or mileage points transfer fees, gift cards, upgrades, duty–free purchases, or award tickets." Has anyone done this lately and if yes, were you reimbursed?
