Given the recent changes by other airlines/alliances, I thought I would check on UA policy about separate tickets.

Ticket #1 - FLL-IAH on United in coach. (Paid ticket, using my UA FF#)
~ 2 hour layover
Ticket #2 - IAH-NRT on ANA in First (FF ticket, use Lifemiles FF#)

If I want to check a bag, will UA interline to ANA and check the bag all the way to NRT despite it being on two separate tickets and two separate FF#?

I don't want to go outside security at IAH, retrieve the bag and go back through security. (I can pack tightly to not check a bag, but would prefer to bring some extra things.)
