wenzlydale I am afraid that you are the cause of your displeasure by omitting to tell that you wanted BA miles for the flights. Had you said you would have been told that you could retroclaim them from QR.
As to the information not being included in the Wiki it is not there because it is not relevant. The Wiki is about the political situation and its consequences for all affected passengers not about the niceties of the various FFP programs.
Had you done a simple search of the thread for 'retroclaim' you would find 12 posts of which at least 10 were relevant explanations!
