I ordered a special VGML meal due to an interest in leaning toward a plant-based diet (vegan essentially). No dietary restrictions due to allergies or other reasons. Standard meal choices were oatmeal + accompaniments or omelet with sausage. FA acknowledged my special meal request. Meal ended up being an egg white omelet oddly enough, which obviously is not vegan. For sure it was my special meal as no cream cheese with the bagel plus the lack of sausage that was with the standard omelet tray. No biggie in my case, but would pose a challenge for some because of the mis-cater.
