This Sunday I was travelling from LHR to SJC on a Paid F fare on BA 279.
The lfight was dleayed due to issues with the batteries on the Dreamliner.
The Scheduled Flight times were:
Departure 12:50pm
Arrival 15:50pm
The Actual Official Flight times were:
Departure 15:41pm (I swear it was after 3:50pm as we left the gate)
Arrival 19:12pm
Even though I was tucked away in the comforts of a Cabana in the Concorde Room for over 4 hours the fact is that I arrived over 3 hours late to my destination.
This was a paid F return fare which originated from the US
Am I entitled to any compensation?
The timings seem odd, as your actual journey time is 31 minutes longer than the timetabled journey time, which is padded anyway. Were there any undue delays en-route (overly long queue to take off, circling to land etc)?
