I heard one story from a customer. In the early 2000s he was flying LH First Class to Tokyo. He was really anxious, because he couldnīt smoke for 12 hours and asked the Purser for nicotine patches. Instead of those the Purser brought an ashtray provided by the Captain. He was alone in First Class that day, so I guess he was very lucky that the Captain was a smoker too
