I need to travel to BKK business using amex mr points if possible. I wanted to include accomodation so my original idea was to convert points to amex travel vouchers and buy a 6 day package type thing, but Thai economy flying with four star hotel was aud$1200 or 150k mr points.

i have truckloads of Qantas FF points but they only go to bkk via sydney (no thanks) so these seem unusable (ill rip thru domestically anyway)

i can join thaisilk? and buy an BC upgrade with amex 2:1ratio for 60k mr points making the total 210k points

or
use mr to stay at radison 54k per person with business class ticket thru thai for 160k points= 214k mr points

or use mr to stay at radison 54k per person with business class ticket thru singapore airlines either 130k points (2:1 amex to krisflyer ratio) for business class saver or 185k points for business class (what is the difference?)
so here's a total of only?
=184k points +not sure if costs to join krisflyer?
this last option seems the cheapest

am imissing something as i am new to this.
is sing apore airlines the best i have available to me???
