I'd vote for the Hyatt or the northern Doubletree. Both are recently renovated airport hotels, which were solid for me.
There's a wide gulf between Sleeping in Airports and Sleeping at the Hyatt.
Prices vary widely depending on what's going on -- I was looking at a late arrival into SFO on January 10th, and the Hyatt was $600++ -- but even at its lowest, it's hard to find something near SFO under $100 after taxes. Given the relatively short connect time, even that might be too much to pay for (at most) 4 hours of sleep.
