Over all this whole set up seems bad for consumers but only time will show... I dont envy intra german travelers in the near future with this consolidation happening.... Therebreally has not been much effort by LH to appease AB members so it feels like they already have the mind set that theyll fly LH no matter what so why work for the business...
I have not bought a cash ticket for myself in a long time (perhaps over 6 years now) and with this move I am sure it will stay that way.
Especially since alot of there short haul flights are with EW where star benefits do NOT apply so no thanks.
