Having kept a close eye on LON-LAS over the last few months in WT and WT+, I've seen that the direct LHR-LAS fare always seems to command a hefty premium, and that it's significantly cheaper (like up to half the fare) to start ex-EU and/or fly via LAX.
If you're flying into LAX in WT+ and book the connecting LAS on AA with a BA codeshare, it books into B class which gives a useful extra 20TPs too, if that's important.
