On Afternoon Tea services there is a Ploughman’s offered as an alternative to the sandwiches (unless they’ve all been taken) and there is a hot sandwich alternative to the salad on lunch/dinner services. Despite the moaning on here about the hot sandwiches they appear quite popular and often run out quickly.
I was sitting in 1C. I was the first person served on the outbound. I asked for the salad and was told that there wasn’t any. Again, on the return, I was in 1C. 1D and 1F were served before me. Both opted for the Coronation Chicken salad. No hot sandwiches when the crew turned to me.
