As a valued Virgin America Visa® or Virgin America Premium Visa® Credit cardholder, we want to ensure that you’re informed about important changes to your account.
On January 1, 2018 Alaska Mileage PlanTM will replace Virgin America ElevateTM and become the sole loyalty program for Virgin America. Along with the upcoming close of Elevate, the rewards and benefits tied to your Virgin America Visa credit card, issued by Comenity Capital Bank, will end on December 31, 2017 and your account will be closed on January 4, 2018. Your card will not convert to an Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® card, however you may apply for one at any time.
If you have a balance on your Virgin America Visa Credit card account after the program ends:
You will receive monthly billing statements until the balance is paid in full.
The terms of your account, as stated in your Credit Card Agreement, will apply until your balance is paid in full.
You will continue to have access to your Account Center, where you can view your account and make online payments.
