Yeah, this has been a pet peeve of mine. Many, especially blogs, report cards as "not subject to 5/24" without fully explaining what that means.
Whenever I talk or write about this, I never use the phrase "subject to 5/24." I either say a card "does not contribute to 5/24" or "applying for this card (e.g. IHG) does not require you to be under 5/24."
Is this clear enough?
