28 Sep : Amadeus Altea global outage, BA systems affected.
I have an existing Amex 2-4-1 booking in business class (there was no First available when I booked at 355 days out). Today, BA.com is showing availability in First but when I call to make the change the phone agents are telling me that there is a global system outage and nothing can be booked by phone.
Does anyone know if I can do anything to grab the upgrade on-line or am I just going to have to call back every 30 minutes to see if the system is fixed?
