There is no airside connection between T1 and T3. You'll have to clear security at both terminals.
Also, be aware that you can't check baggage at FLL any earlier than 4 hours before your flight. If your cruise line participates in one of the luggage programs, it may be easier to use that in order to bypass having to check in at FLL as it can be more than a bit of a mess on cruise days.
