My question:
You've done a great job simplifying your FF program to make it easy for everyone to understand, so much so that it looks just like Southwest's plan, which isn't a bad thing. However, unlike Southwest, why are award tickets subject to both blackout days -and- capacity controls, unlike Southwest?
When I have tried to use award tickets, my only successful attempts resulted in free seats on fares that were <$200 RT. Any attempts at flights with higher fares were rejected. If the awards are only good on the super cheap advance flights, it lowers the value of the program considerably.
