I think I have read comments that sometimes inventory may released around 1pm UK time. I've certainly had EF alerts mid-afternoon (not that this provides proof).
It might be worth setting up some alerts - the subscription to EF is not very expensive. BA Redemption Finder will also send alerts but these are by month rather than for specific flights.
