BA are not good at telling you about changes they make, but the
MyFlights app is. It's free and I wholeheartedly recommend it to monitor your bookings for you.
The aircraft my change again so you might get lucky. Also, it's likely some of the window and aisle seats you would prefer are blocked by
theoretical seating and may open up closer to the departure date. You can check this in
ExpertFlyer or if you post the date and fight number someone will look it up for you.
