This is a completely asinine argument, considering that if you flew United, you'd get far, far less than 50% of miles flown. Heck, even if you were 1K, you'd get about 4,400 miles, or a whopping 29% of miles flown.
By the way - you're new here... mileage runs are primarily flown for the EQM, not the RDM. RDM you can simply buy for 1 or 2 cents each, so flying them is a ridiculous way of accruing miles.
And yes - AC in "K" credits to United at 100% EQM.
