It's a weather delay, so yes, you do need to fend for yourselves. You may be abkle to claim some goodwill compensation, but otherwise start looking at the small print of your travel insurance
Might as well head back into Hong Kong city and find a hotel there instead of sitting at the airport for 2-3 days.
Unless everything is on lock down including the MRT service.
