LOL when I recently visited Bucharest I regretted not seeing the railway station. This was because in 1938 my mother arrived in Bucharest from Lausanne on the Orient Express and I wanted to see it.

I had read that the trains in Romania were not nice but they look OK to me.
My mother also traveled from Bucharest to Istanbul but by ship from Constanta in 1940.
