Very frequently, I've seen my fare code (quantities) increase and decrease on flights that I'd like to change to (usually a few days prior to the trip), but I've NEVER been allowed to change without fees until the 24 hr window on my present flight and the one I would like to change to. That's why it's called SDC, I suppose!
