For < 2.5 hour flights in reasonable weather (you're not going to be fly through substantive snow or thunderstorms), the SR-22T is a great option.
It's actually quite comfortable for up to 3 passengers, and much more of a luxury feel than your standard single-engine piston. Noise is a non-issue with the right noise-cancelling headset (which any decent operator will provide).
Safety with one-pilot isn't really an issue if pilot is experienced. A piston aircraft is never going to be quite as safe as a turbine aircraft, but you're chartering at ~$700/hr instead of ~$1,700/hr so it's a different product.
