I have some free time to cool my head, and thought about this thread. Now being Thursday evening, I went to UA app to check out any long upgrade list. My first choice was ORD-SFO (based on anecdotal reports here) and I was not disappointed.

Which is more impressive?
  • UA 2055. B753. No upgrades. 83+ on upgrade list
  • UA 1742. B772 HD. Three (possibly four) upgrades. 103+ on upgrade list.

They both have 1 and 2 hours to go before takeoff, at the time of this post (hence the "+").
