Last year, Delta was much cheaper on flights to Peru. i have friends there and was going about 2-3 times a year. Last 2 years I was getting it for $1350-$1470 R/T out of ATL if booked in advance and staying the weekend. Now it's jumped up to $1950 over the weekends and down to $1750 if stay for an entire week. At one time i was evengetting SFO-LIM through ATL R/T for $1250. I did 2 mileage runs during 2 consecutive weekends and got to see a lot of friends and eat a lotta ceviche at the same time. Was fun!

Better off right now to get a cheap economy flight down to Miami and then taking Avianca R/T to Lima for like $720 R/T in biz.
