Travel to Rome and Amalfi In Nov.
Family travel - Wife, son (21) daughter (16) and I.
the family will be traveling to Italy over the Thanksgiving holiday leaving on the 17th and arriving in Rome on the 18th. The wife and I have been to Rome and Amalfi but wanted to take the kids to Europe and hoping for not to cold weather have picked S Italy.
Questions - Planning on 4 nights in Rome and pretty easy to plan that out but iunsure what to do for the next 4 nights.
Amalfi - I know the Amalfi coast sights is mostly the coast itself and with possible iffy weather, and seasonal closures does this make sense or should we look to go elsewhere?
We will be flying back out of Rome on the 26th with a 1 night layover in Amsterdam.
Suggestions for alternate visit other than Amalfi? Florence? Venice ( cold)
