Apparently the tarmac is made of red granite. Only 2 gates and a fun place to fly.
I know this isn't a trip report thread, but here are a few photos on the way back last night. For those amongst us who are interested in these things, the flight HEL - MHQ on a clear day is absolutely stunning and the aland islands (there are around 7000 in the archipelago) are a great place to visit in the summer if you like scandi-style holiday places.
