We often flew on these YYZ-FRA. They had J in front in the nose, and upstairs, 2-2. Actually they were nice. I still remember, back in 2000, my wiife managed to get Aeroplan miles on an Aeroplan reward when an agent decided her aeroplan number was missing and added it.
They were retired in 2003. Apparently never made AC any money.
They were therfore relatively more expensive to operate when in all passenger role.
They were never really in all passenger role. The cabin only went to a bit more than the half of the length and the tail section was pure freight.
