No hard evidence, but I would expect the agents to have the ability to do this before it is implemented on the website. The superficial "support" for this:
When AA changed domestic First to be called Business, it took the AAVacations website quite a while to catch up. Sometimes one had to Book F, sometimes J. And trying things like Flight+Car can still yield "no results found" error messages if not done properly (and "properly" may mean "wrong" for some destinations).
Their website support lags even AA.
