Confirmation from Customer Service
Hi,
Looking at all the discussion here on the usage of the seat upgrade coupon, I emailed Customer Service and received the following response.
"Further to our correspondence, we would like to note that for your future flights, you may use your upgrade coupons for one flight only. This is a new clarification from the Loyalty Department of our Company."
So it seems that usage is back to what we were previously used to, i.e use only for the segments that you would like to upgrade without being forced to use it for all in/out-bound sectors if connecting in ATH.
Kudos to A3 for coming to it's senses.
