When the Fairmont changes to CSP see about changing it then, whats unclear is how long you may have to keep the changed CSP before conververting it to a Freedom.

There is no reason to be afraid of a free card, you keep your Fairmont history with the changed card, and you'll earn mor UR points.

As far as I know You can't apply for a Chase card you already have, so apply sooner than later.
