Just a short comment on this. LH/LX and those on the LH Amadeus platform get your status when you create the PNR. It is this status that feeds through to DCS and your boarding pass. Thus, if your status changes (i.e. goes down) you could end up with *G on the BP even though your status has been downgraded. I have tested this (not with my own boarding pass) and received lounged access to Senator lounge in ZRH with this.
AC populates the status on flight creation in DCS so it is always current (or at least 2-3 days old).
If you have a booking in LH/LX etc then if your status goes up after booking, go into your PNR, remove the FQTV and then save without a number. Then add the number back and your status will be updated.
