Exclamation ATL concourse E to F 'sterile Walkway' ?

Hello,
I will have to connect 2 international flights in ATL.
Frankfurt -> ATL -> Panama City. My flights will be both arriving at and leaving from concourse E. I have however seen that all international luggage has to be picked up at concourse F. My questions are:

Is the Immigration procedure done at E (and then I go to concourse F) or is it done at F?
It says something about a 'Sterile Walkway' between E and F for international passengers.. does this mean I cannot take the PlaneTrain, but have to walk between E and F? If so, how long would that take?
On the map of F there are two different baggage claims: "Baggage claim F" (6 caroussels) and "International Baggage claim" (1 caroussel)... which would be for me?
