I have no doubt that things happen this way. But it seems to be at odds with the "original
purchased fare class" notion for crediting EQMs. Certainly a voluntary upgrade is not due more EQM. Why should a voluntary downgrade receive fewer?
Should not be difficult to get adjusted.
