I remember VS trialing google glass for the same purposes but I'm guessing it died out with the poor success of the product. By now AR has gotten better but I wonder how much better.
The trick would probably to have some sort of orientation markings and/or QR codes in the cabin/on seats, which combined with a built-in compass and gyro would then work.
